Tamil Nadu has been receiving moderate to heavy rains for the past few days in every district. Due to this heavy rain, the lakes at various places are full and flood water enters the houses causing people to suffer. Due to this the normal life of the people is affected. Collectors of the district are advising people to keep them in safe places. A flood warning has also been issued for the people along the coast. Accordingly, Krishnagiri district has been receiving heavy rain for the past 3 days. Accordingly, it rained heavily since the night before yesterday. Especially in Hosur and Dhenkanikot taluks, it rained to an unprecedented extent. As a result, Hosur bus station became a flood forest. And all the people are suffering due to flood water in various parts of the city.

Due to this, the normal life of the people was greatly affected. Similarly, Chinna Elsakhiri Bekepalli, Balaji Nagar and other areas near Hosur also turned into white forest due to heavy rains. In private residential areas near Hosur Samathuvapuram and Anumanthapuram, rainwater seeped inside residences. Due to this, people are unable to leave their homes. Hosur Tahsildar who came to know about this went there and gave food to the affected people and arranged for them to stay in Hosur Samathuvapuram. Subsequently, due to this heavy rain, the lake at Mookandapalli near Hosur also did not fill up. In this case, the lake water mixed with the chemical waste of the nearby industries and foamed and entered the nearby residential area. The people of the area suffered a lot as this water entered the houses with a very bad smell.

Apart from that, the surrounding wall of the old Government Transport Corporation workshop in Hosur collapsed. In this, a minivan parked behind the perimeter wall got caught in the rubble and crumbled like a pancake. Following this, the areas of Thenikottai, Anchetty and Thali have been receiving heavy rains for the past few days. Due to this, in Mawanati village next to Anchetty, sewage water came out along with rain water and entered the houses in the area. After that there was heavy rain across the district yesterday morning as well. As a result, Collector Jaishandraphanu Reddy announced a holiday yesterday only for the schools and colleges of Hosur Thenikot taluks.
