A jump in the number of shooting attacks in Judea and Samaria since the beginning of the year. Last year there were 50 shooting attacks, in 2020 there were 48 and in 2019 there were 61 shooting attacks.

In addition to this, this year there were dozens more cases in which Palestinian armed men shot at the security forces during entry into Palestinian cities and villages during arrests in the territories. So far this year, the security forces have succeeded in thwarting 220 shooting attacks in Judea and Samaria against soldiers and civilians, following the arrest of wanted persons and following targeted intelligence information from the General Security Service (Shab).
