This was announced by the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov. Earlier, a letter to the President was sent by the heads of a number of Russian charitable organizations. In it, they asked for changes to the law, citing the existing exceptions.

“No, until the president saw this appeal. Of course, this appeal will be included in all reports and will be brought to the attention of the head of state, ”said Mr. Peskov during the press call. According to him, Vladimir Putin has previously commented on the law at the Valdai Forum. “And the president spoke about the need to work and understand the law enforcement practice under this law. Therefore, this work, after such words of the president, of course, will be carried out, “- said the representative of the Kremlin.

Answering the question whether the president has a position on charitable organizations, Mr. Peskov answered in the negative. “No, there is no separate position, I don’t know about it,” explained Mr. Peskov.

“There are certain considerations on the practice of enforcing the provisions of this law. Therefore, you just need to calmly, in contact with our parliamentarians, experts, relevant departments, establish a dialogue and state the concerns that exist, ”added the presidential press secretary.

The letter to the President was sent by the founder of the Gift of Life Foundation Chulpan Khamatova, artistic director of the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov and founder of the charitable foundation Konstantin Khabensky, trustee of the Children-Butterflies foundation Ksenia Rappoport, co-founder of Sunflower Timur Bekmambetov, founder of the Help project and founder of the Help fund Nikita Kukushkin, founder of the House with a Lighthouse foundation Lidia Moniava , the chairman of the organization “Nochlezhka” Grigory Sverdlin, the president of Rusfond Lev Ambinder and many others. In total, there are 40 people on the list. The authors of the letter proposed to amend paragraph 7 of Art. 1 of the Federal Law “On Non-Commercial Organizations”, adding charitable foundations to it. Now the law does not apply to religious organizations, chambers of commerce and industry, state corporations, state and municipal institutions and international foundations.
