Paris: Neymar and Kylian Mbappé hit the net and Lionel Messi made way for both of them to score, and PSG won brilliantly in the match. The Parisians returned to the first place in the French league after sinking Toulouse with three unanswered goals.

In the 37th minute, Neymar hit the net with a pass given by Messi after splitting the opposition defense. The line referee flagged offside, but the referee allowed the goal after finding that Neymar was not offside. With seven goals in five games, the Brazilian star is now the top scorer in the league.

Toulouse goalkeeper Maxime Dupe reduced the burden of defeat by stopping Messi’s goal-scoring moves four times in PSG’s line, which was constantly raided by the opposing goalkeeper. At the beginning of the second half, Dupe’s free kick that scored a goal was knocked away with great effort.

PSG’s lead was scored by Mbappe in the 50th minute. After receiving Marco Verratti’s pass and entering the box, Messi controlled the ball skillfully and gave it to Mbappe. The Frenchman immediately hit a brilliant shot that went through Dupe’s legs and into the net.

In the 83rd minute, coach Christophe Gatlier withdrew Messi and brought on wing-back Ashraf Hakimi. PSG’s third goal was scored by Juan Vernat in the 90th minute.

In five games in the league, PSG, Lens and Marseille teams have 13 points each. However, PSG is ahead in goal average. On Wednesday, Lens beat Lorient 5-2, while Marseille beat Clermont by a one-goal goal.
