Annamalai herself has said that it was Anna who gave the government holiday for Vinayagar Chaturthi. If Anna is taking a vacation, would she have taken the vacation if she was angry with Hinduism?
As far as we are concerned, social justice is important. All communities and all religions should be united. We do not work against any god.
If Chaturthi is not celebrated…? Did you see what happened yesterday? 2 people have lost their lives due to deliberate and extravagant acts. The aim of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister is to ban all such events, not to stop them.
