Atalanta players celebrate (Reuters)
The fourth round of the Italian league was closed tonight (Thursday) when Atalanta beat Torino and continued their great start to the season, being ranked at the top. Bologna led over Salernitana for long minutes, but conceded a late equalizer and are still winless this season.
Atalanta – Torino 1:3
The team from Bergamo continued their great start to the season by beating their rivals from Turin. Right at the end of the first half, the Blues took the lead when Saton Koopmeiners scored from the penalty spot, at the start of the second half the Dutchman completed a brace. In the 76th minute, Nikola Vlasic faltered, but in the 84th minute, Thon Koopmeiners completed a hat trick with another penalty.
Bologna – Salerno 1:1
The host’s bad start to the season continued, as she still did not get a win this season and ended with a 1:1 against her rival from Salerno. In the 52nd minute, Marko Arnautovic scored from the penalty spot and it seemed that the Reds and Blues were on their way to the first 3 points of the season, but in the 88th minute, Boulay Dea scored and established a draw at the end of the game.
