A woman died due to electrocution last night in Vyasarpadi, Chennai. Residents of the area say that the woman died after being electrocuted by rainwater that had accumulated on the road. As it is a very low-lying area, water logging is common during rains.
There is an electrical box near it. As a result, the people of the area say that they have complained about this to the power board several times but they have not noticed it yet.
The girl’s relatives have requested that the Tamil Nadu government should take appropriate action.
