Samsung launched the hard tablet Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro

by time news

The most important thing in a hard tablet in general, like Samsung’s for example, is of course the protection of its screen. In the case of the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro, this includes Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection glass, which, according to the company, helps the tablet to be able to fall from a height of one meter and not suffer particularly annoying results. If you add the protective cover that comes as part of the package, the height grows up to 1.2 meters.

Naturally, it also passed, according to Samsung, the many durability tests of the American military, which are known as the MIL-STD-810H standard, and is also waterproof and dustproof to the IP68 standard.

The screen itself, with an LCD panel, is 10.1 inches in size and offers FHD+ resolution and of course supports touch, when the package also includes an electronic pen that can take advantage of it. As usual, Samsung often does not say exactly what the processor is, but it is manufactured in 6 nanometers and has eight cores, so it is not from the current generation. There are also two memory options, 4/64 GB and 8/128 GB. The storage memory can be expanded using a microSD card.

The weight of the tablet itself is 674 grams, and when you add the protection package and the pen, it reaches 833 grams. It features a 7,600 mAh removable battery. There are also two cameras, with the front one equipped with an 8-megapixel sensor, and the main rear one equipped with a 13-megapixel sensor with autofocus and flash.

Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro supports LTE and 5G on sub-6GHz networks and WiFi 6. The operating system is Android 12. It will be available for actual sale later this month. The price has not yet been announced.
