Today (Friday, 15:00, live on 5SPORT) the Israeli national team will open its journey in the European Championship when it meets Finland, with several young players in its squad who will be on the main stage for the first time in the continent, among them of course the young stars Dani Avdia and Yam Medar.
While the team prepares for the real thing, some of the greatest legends in blue and white who were there in the past – met for a celebratory conversation and went back in time. Miki Berkovic, Shimon Amsalem, Pepi Turgeman, Ido Kozhikro and Lior Eliyahu brought up memories of the European championships and certainly whetted the appetite for the current tournament.
