Kabul: Another terrorist attack on the mosque in Afghanistan. 14 people including Imam were killed. The explosion occurred in the afternoon in the mosque in western Afghanistan.
Taliban leader and imam Mujeeb Rehman Ansari was killed. Ansari’s security guards were also among those killed. Kabul police spokesman Mohammad Rasoli said the attack took place when he arrived at the mosque for prayers.
Mujeeb Rehman Ansari is suspected to have been targeted in the terrorist attack. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
