The ability to edit a tweet will only be available for half an hour from the time it was posted. A month later, the group will expand – the company wants to understand what the innovation will lead to and how the function will be used in practice.
Twitter Blue is currently available in the US, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. Twitter has been developing a tweet editing feature since 2021. In April 2022, billionaire Elon Musk asked his audience on Twitter if the social network needed such a feature – over 73% of the 4 million participants answered the question in the affirmative.
