The full background of a complaint filed by a Sri Lankan woman working in Switzerland against popular Tamil film actor Prasanth has been revealed.
Prasanth made his debut as a hero in the Tamil film industry with the film Vaikasi Porandachu. He was one of the leading actors who flew the flag during the 90s.
After a long hiatus, his upcoming film Andagan will release soon. In this situation, a woman named Kumudini from Sri Lanka is working at a Swiss airport.
A verbal complaint has been lodged at Bandibazar Police Station, Chennai, that Prashant has cheated Rs 10 lakh on his behalf.
Subsequently, a written complaint was filed on Prashanth’s side that Kumudini was involved in tarnishing his reputation. It is further stated that no evidence has been submitted regarding the complaint by Kumudini.
Police are investigating both sides.
