Police officers who came to break up an illegal nature party near the Sea of Galilee were attacked by its participants. The party, which included dozens of drunk and drugged young people, was stopped, and chairs, bottles and stones were thrown at the police.
One of the policemen, who said he felt his life was in danger, pulled out his weapon and fired into the air.

At the end of Shabbat, the Commissioner of the Police, Chief Superintendent Yaakov Shabtai, spoke with the policeman who was forced to shoot in the air when he and his fellow policeman were attacked while dispersing an illegal nature party near Tiberias. The commissioner praised the policeman for his work and said: “Anyone who was involved in the attack on the policemen will be arrested and the Israel Police will bring him to justice.”
