Muscat: “Al Zarb” festival is being organized for the first time in Salalah from this year under the leadership of Dhofar Municipality. The spring season in Dhofar Governorate, locally called “Al Zarb”, begins on September 21 and continues for three months.
Spring in Dhofar Governorate is marked by very mild weather with a mix of hot and cold weather, low humidity and stable sea conditions after Salalah’s monsoon season of Kharif. From September 21 to the end of December, Salalah has a very popular weather for tourists. Therefore, in conjunction with the “Al Sarb” weather, Dhofar Municipality will organize the “Al Sarb” festival in the governorate from this year, according to a statement released by the municipality.

In conjunction with the “Al Zarb” or spring festival, the governorate will organize sports competitions and cultural events, the statement said.
The notification also stated that organizations that want to work with the programs of Dhofar “Al Zarb 2022” can submit applications to the municipal council.
