The Florida fire was contained by Miami Fire Rescue. “So far we have one person transferred [ו] Treated for injuries,” the department tweeted Friday.
Rescue crews transported a man to Ryder Trauma Center with severe burns after a 75-foot yacht caught fire just before 7:25 p.m., Friday.
Photos of the fire shared by police showed black smoke and huge orange and yellow flames coming from the vehicle.
Palm trees and residential buildings were nearby.
According to a video and photos posted to social networks, the fire fighters captured the yacht’s fire, with sirens in the background.
Some showed firefighters working, using water and foam to put out the fire.
The condition of the injured is still unknown and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
