The unit for multi-sector collaborations initiated and led the ‘future research conference – writing the next chapter together – the challenge of multi-sector partnerships for the benefit of society and the quality of life in Israel in the coming years, for joint future thinking in order to focus agreements on what success in multi-sector partnerships will look like in the years to come, What is the action required to achieve it and how to translate it into implementation under the leadership of the participants from different sectors. During the conference, which was held, task groups from all the sectors investigated various issues, gaps were identified and directions of action were outlined for implementation.
The President’s wife, Michal Herzog, and the CEO of the Prime Minister’s Office, Naama Schultz, opened the conference “Writing the next chapter together – the challenge of multi-sector partnerships” of the Multi-Sector Cooperation Unit in the Prime Minister’s Office. The President’s wife, Michal Herzog, emphasized the importance of dialogue and multi-sector thinking Sectoral: “This broad multi-sectoral meeting is dedicated to joint thinking to promote and deepen multi-sectoral interfaces and cooperation for the benefit of the citizens of the State of Israel.” Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office Naama Shultz: “In the current reality, a country that will not have the ability to promote cooperation between sectoral, you won’t be able to lead large processes. Civil society, local authorities and the business sector operate in a faster and more precise movement and help us reach places where the government’s aircraft carrier takes more time to turn and adjust.”
The conference was attended by 100 representatives from the various sectors and during the meeting, trends affecting today and in the future on multi-sector cooperation in Israel were mapped, directions of action were drawn up and practical proposals for multi-sector actions were made.
