Samsung’s update campaign has also reached the low end of its mid-market/entry series, the Galaxy A. The company has announced a new version of the Galaxy A23, the device at the bottom end of the series, and apparently beyond the addition of 5G support, there is no real change Compared to the phone that was launched only a few months ago.

The support for the updated cellular generation is through the replacement of the Snapdragon 680 processor with the Snapdragon 695G, which will also bring users slightly more performance.

Beyond that, it is the same LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and a size of 6.6 inches, and it supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which is respectable for this end of the scale. The basic memory is 4/64 GB, but the storage can be expanded with a microSDXC card up to 1 TB more.

Samsung has only published the main camera, which will be 50 megapixels, but apparently it is the same camera setup as in the A23, which means four cameras, beyond which, with support for PDAF photography with an f/1.8 key and optical image stabilization, there is also a wide-angle camera On with a 5 megapixel sensor and a field of view of 123 degrees, while the other two cameras are 2 megapixels, one for macro and one for depth of field.

The battery has a working capacity of 5,000 mAh, without a charger, and with a basic price of $299.99 but before a discount, at least in the Samsung store.
