Chennai: Tickets for the international women’s tennis matches to be held in Chennai from 12th have started.
Leander Bias, Mahesh Bhupathi, Rohan Bopanna, Somdev Devvarman, Ramkumar Ramanathan played in the ATP series in Chennai. It got great response from the fans. At present, ‘WTA 250’ international women’s tennis tournament is going to be held in Nungambakkam.
The tournament is organized by Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority and Chennai Corporation. The matches will be held from 12th to 18th. In this, the world’s best players including American player Allison Riske, daughter-in-law of Tennis Association President Anand Amirtaraj, Elise Mertens of Belgium, Caroline Garcia of France, and Varvara Andreynaeva Kraseva of Russia will participate.
