Now, in a new interview, she announces, “I decided to return to Instagram.” This is another decision of the former duchess on the way to absolute freedom. “When I first married Harry I had to give up a lot of things,” she said.
“I had to give up my passport, the freedom to open personal letters myself. It was a big sacrifice. To move from independence to which she was used to a different life,” she explained. As you may remember, Merkel’s surprising announcement comes after she has spoken many times about the fact that she does not intend to return to social networks, especially in light of the bullying that exists in them.
Merkel also talked about moving to the United States. “We undermined the whole dynamic in the royal house, so we had to leave. At first we didn’t have money to buy a house in the United States. We didn’t work, so it was simply impossible,’ she said. But as we know, two years ago, they eventually bought a spacious house in Los Angeles. “It wasn’t easy to find a home and start a new life. But I’m glad we did it,” she concluded.
