London : First defeat of the season for table toppers Arsenal in the English Premier League. The Gunners lost 2-1 to Manchester United at their home ground, Old Trafford. Marcus Rashford scored a brace for United. Anthony, the new player of the team, scored a goal in the first match.
Manchester finished the first half of the match with a 1-0 lead. Anthony’s pass from Rashford announced his arrival in Manchester. Then Mikel Arteta’s strategy to get the upper hand in the match and find a goal worked, but there was no goal.

In response to that, in the second half, United sent their superstar Cristiano Ronaldo as a substitute. The Gunners capitalized on United’s defensive lapses in the 60th minute as both teams created chances back and forth, with Bakuyako Saka scoring the equaliser. But that goal lasted only six minutes.
In the 66th minute, Rashford received a pass from Bruno Fernandes in the middle and put it right in Arsenal’s net. Then in the 75th minute, Christian Eriksen received another pass from the midfield and found himself in front of Arsenal’s goal. Then the Danish player handed over to Rashford. The Englishman accurately put the ball back into the Gunners’ net.
The Devils ended Arsenal’s unbeaten run of 5 matches in a row. It was United’s fourth straight win of the season after losing their first two.
