This is not the first time that people become famous for their love of plastic surgery, especially those that make them resemble, so to speak, some famous figure. Now that we’ve already heard about surgeries that “turned” people into Kim Kardashian, Barbie and Ken, now it’s Marilyn Monroe’s turn.

Serena Smith from California started her plastic surgeries at the age of 18 and so far has spent close to 165 thousand on plastic surgeries and she is not close to finishing. So far, she has performed nose surgeries that cost almost NIS 40,000, breast surgeries worth about NIS 25,000, as well as facial fillers and recently a Brazilian breast lift, each of which was worth about NIS 50,000.

Serena explains that with the exception of the difficulty in recovering from each and every procedure, she does not regret any surgery she underwent. For example, the buttock lift recovery procedure required wearing a special belt, 23 hours a day for two months.

Despite this, she plans to undergo more procedures: “As soon as you recover, you forget about the entire recovery procedure.” To this she added that although she is satisfied with the results, she always sees room for improvement: “I want to do more surgeries because I like to improve myself all the time. It’s a financial investment in yourself.”
