Suspected murder of a journalist: 44-year-old Nidal Agbaria from the Arab sector died today (Sunday) after being shot and mortally wounded while he was inside a car in the Kina neighborhood of Umm Al Fahem. MDA paramedics gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to the Emek Hospital, however, as mentioned, he later died from his injuries.
Police forces began collecting findings from the scene alongside scans to locate suspects, when according to the initial suspicion, the journalist was not shot because of his profession but because his brother had financial debts.
The journalists’ organization stated that they are “shocked by the murder of the journalist Nidal Agbariyeh and send their condolences to his family. The Israeli police must act immediately to locate the murderers and bring them to justice and act more vigorously in order to eradicate the epidemic of violence in Arab society.”
