Climate protection is the greatest task of our generation. We need a fair and community solution to tackle them properly. This includes massive public investment in renewable energy, infrastructure and local businesses. This ensures we have enough electricity for the future and creates good jobs.
We must now finally move forward: climate protection must be tackled with the necessary speed and on the right scale. the Climate Fund Initiative allows this. Switzerland must get away from fossil fuels and uranium as quickly as possible. With the climate fund initiative, we are promoting renewable energies and strengthening security of supply thanks to domestic electricity production. Die Initiative demands that we save between 0.5 and 1% of gross domestic product every year invest in ecological and social restructuring. With this money, solar panels can be built nationwide, building renovations can be promoted throughout Switzerland and public transport can be expanded. We are convinced: The climate fund initiative brings about the political breakthrough for more climate protection in Switzerland.
