Kuwait City: In Kuwait, orders were issued allowing five expatriates to own various assets. Kuwaiti media outlet Al Rai reported that they were given permission to acquire assets in various parts of the country, including Mangaf, Mishrif, Khalidiya and Abdullah Al Salim.

The cabinet approved the proposal put forward by the country’s justice minister to allow five expatriates to own assets. But according to the reports, the ownership rights of the assets will be given as per the terms and conditions as per the third section of Act 74 of 1979 and along with this, the terms and conditions put forward by the cabinet will also be applicable in this regard. Five people from Tunisia, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen have applied to acquire assets in Kuwait. This has come to the consideration of the Cabinet after various procedures.

An expatriate died in a car accident in Bahrain
Manama: An expatriate youth died in a car accident in Bahrain. In a statement released by the Ministry of Interior, the accident occurred near Askar on the King Hamad Highway. The information given by the authorities is that the expatriate who was walking on the road was hit by a car. Official reports only say that the deceased was an Asian expatriate. Other information including his nationality is not available.
