The presentation of the Aurus Komendant SUV will take place at the end of September. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
“At the end of this month, we will present an SUV,” said the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (quote from RIA Novosti).
At the end of July, TASS reported that the company was preparing for mass production of the Aurus Komendant. Earlier, Manturov said that the first SUVs would be assembled by the end of 2022.
A year earlier, at the WEF, the company introduced the hydrogen-powered Hydrogen car. Its advantage is environmental friendliness. With a power reserve of 600 km, the car does not emit carbon dioxide.
Also in July of this year, it became known that in 2024 Aurus is going to start mass production of Merlon electric motorcycles. Manturov spoke about this at Innoprom-2022.
Aurus produces luxury cars. Its lineup includes a limousine, sedan, minivan and SUV. Also, this brand of cars is chosen by the first persons of the state, including one of the company’s cars, Russian President Vladimir Putin drives.
