CHENNAI, MPBS, BDS. An entrance exam called ‘NEET’ is conducted for admission to medical courses. This year’s ‘NEET’ examination was held across the country on July 17. A large number of students appeared for this exam in Tamil Nadu. There were various restrictions imposed on the entry of students into the examination hall.
Out of 18 lakh 72 thousand 343 candidates who applied for the NEET exam held across the country, only 17 lakh 78 thousand 725 appeared and wrote the exam. Students wrote the NEET exam in 13 languages including Tamil, English and Hindi. One lakh 40 thousand people were writing in Tamil Nadu.
CBSE Following the delay in the exam result, the result of the NEET exam also got delayed. Due to this, admissions to higher courses in engineering and medicine are delayed. Engineering counseling which was supposed to start last month was postponed due to NEET results.
In this context, the National Examinations Agency has announced that the NEET results will be released today (7th). After that NEET answer sheet OFR. The sheet was published online on the 31st of last month.
