Actress and dubbing artiste Deepa Venkat has said that she has voiced popular actress Aishwarya Rai in Ponni’s Selvan.
Director Mani Ratnam has filmed Ponni’s Selvan story, a famous historical novel written by author Kalki.
Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Vikram Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Jayaram, Rahman, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Ashwin, Kishore and many others have acted. Mani Ratnam and Kumaravel have jointly written the screenplay of the film. Lyrics – Jayamohan, Music – A.R. Rahman, Cinematography – Ravi Varman, Art – Thota Dharani. Ponni’s Selvan will release on September 30.
The song and trailer launch of Ponni’s Selvan was held in Chennai yesterday. Mani Ratnam, A.R. Rahman, Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha and many other members of the film crew also attended the event. Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan were the special guests.
Meanwhile, actress and dubbing artist Deepa Venkat has written a post on Instagram that she has voiced actress Aishwarya Rai in Ponni’s Selvan. He added:
I have voiced Aishwarya Rai for the first time. There is a lot to say about him. I will publish it later as a separate post. No matter how much I thank you for this opportunity, it is ten hours sir.
