In the evening, a report was received of a man in his 61st year barricading himself in a room in his family’s house, armed with a knife. Police forces arrived at the scene and together with a negotiation team tried to talk about his heart, and to motivate him from harming himself or others, finally due to fear that he would harm himself, the policemen broke into his house. One of the policemen was stabbed in the chest by the suspect and was taken to the hospital in moderate to serious condition.
The officers took control of the suspect using gunfire and wounded him slightly. The background to the incident is the suspect’s suspicion that he will be forcibly hospitalized by his family members in a mental hospital.
The suspect was arrested and taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
