Thomas Tuchel was unexpectedly fired yesterday from Chelsea and the Blues have already marked a replacement in the form of Graham Potter, coach of Brighton, but in England they were not calmed by the sudden move of Todd Boley. In the ‘Daily Mail’ they claimed that the American blames the German coach, but in practice he only has himself to blame: “Letting him waste 300 million pounds and then firing him is madness”.

“Bolly spent almost £300 million this summer and sacked Tuchel after his 100th game. He decided to fire him even before the loss to Dinamo Zagreb,” wrote Graeme Sones, former player and coach, “he wondered why things didn’t work despite the purchase and the easiest thing was to blame the coach. The alarms at Chelsea should have gone off when he appointed himself the sporting director.” The Mirror added: “Boli’s next 100 days are not expected to be as action-packed as the first: a waste of 270 million, frustration in the transfer market and the firing of a coach.”

In England, they revealed that the Chelsea players recently lost confidence in Tokel due to his “unstable behavior”, when they also gossiped quite a bit in the dressing room about his personal life and they believe that the crisis in his marriage played a part in his recent poor performance.

The players talked about the German’s failed marriage and the fact that he started dating a woman much younger than him. In April of this year, Tuchel and his wife Sissy announced their divorce after 13 years, and Tuchel began dating a young Brazilian named Natalie Max.
