Shares of the first Spanish soccer club to go public fall 71% in 2022

The last session of the Madrid Stock Exchange has confirmed that the value of the shares of Intercity, the first sports club listed on the stock market and that is a member of the First Federation, has fallen to its lowest value (0.24 euros) with a decrease of 71.21 percent during the year 2022.

The Intercity began trading on the Stock Exchange on October 29, 2021 with a starting price per share of 1.2 euros, a value that rose to 2.2 in the second session in BME Growth. However, from that moment on, a fall began that led it to close the year 2021 below the euro, specifically, at 0.90 euros per title.

The good sporting trajectory of Intercity in those months, which culminated in the promotion to First RFEF last May, had no influence on their quotes in a bag.

In this scenario, Intercity plans to approve on the 19th of this month at a general meeting of shareholders a new capital increase for compensation of credits for an effective amount of nearly one and a half million euros (€1,442,549) at the price of 20 cents of nominal value each of the shares put up for sale.
