Pride: The Mezquit fashion house has an international launch in Mexico

Meschit, the prestigious Israeli fashion house reaches as far as the president’s house in Mexico.

As part of the celebrations to mark 70 years of diplomatic relations between Israel and Mexico, an event was held at the initiative of Israel’s ambassador to the country and in collaboration with the Mexican President’s House. As part of the event, there was a fashion show by Meschit in which the brand’s new collection was presented in an international launch.

The collection was presented on the runway with a large number of local models, and Sharon Tal, the main designer, received a lot of respect and was interviewed by a variety of TV channels and photographed for a cover story in a leading local magazine.

Mishchit is a legendary luxury fashion house, founded in 1954 by Ruth Dayan, who created contemporary luxury clothing using traditional embroidery techniques of Hungarian, Yemeni, Bedouin, Bulgarian artists and more.

The artistic designs were greatly appreciated in Israel and overseas, and were sought after by the leading women of fashion of the time, such as Audrey Hepburn who wore the famous desert coat. In addition, collaborations were created with top designers such as Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Givenchy.
