China’s head of state returns after more than two years abroad – China

While more people than ever before are suffering from the strict zero-Covid policy in China, Xi Jinping is traveling abroad again for the first time. The Chinese President has not left the country since the outbreak of the corona pandemic in early 2020. As it became known this week, Xi now wants to visit the two neighboring states of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The trip is scheduled to take place in September.
