Puduwai State Congressman participated in Rahul Gandhi’s foot pilgrimage held at Suchindram area of Kanyakumari district on Thursday.
Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has started a foot pilgrimage from Kanyakumari to Kashmir to emphasize the unity of India and to explain the anti-people activities of the BJP government at the Centre.
He started the pilgrimage from Kanyakumari on the first day, Wednesday, and left Agathiswaram on the second day, Thursday morning. 150 officials including former Chief Minister Ve Narayanasamy, V Vaithilingam MP, MLA M Vaithyanathan, former MLA Karthikeyan participated in the foot pilgrimage held in Suchindram area on Thursday evening.
Earlier, many Congress leaders including former minister Kandasamy, former MLA R. Anandharaman also participated in Rahul Gandhi’s foot pilgrimage held in Agathiswaram area.
At that time, former Minister Kandasamy and former MLA Anantharaman urged Rahul Gandhi about the factional problem in the Puduwai State Congress and to take action against those responsible for it and to change the State Congress President.
