Coimbatore: On the occasion of the World Electric Vehicle Day, an electric vehicle rally was held at Racecourse yesterday to create awareness about electric vehicles. The rally was flagged off by District Collector Sameeran. An awareness rally was held on behalf of SSEM, Coimbatore in order to increase the use of electric vehicles in the future and to create awareness among the general public about electric vehicles. In this, more than 50 vehicles belonging to Oso Tech., Eco Dynamic, E-Royce, E-Mod Electric, Roots, Propel and other companies went in a rally. Racecourse started at the Income Tax office and went around the racecourse area three times.
