On the first day, the UK Prime Minister will make a written statement to the people about the Queen’s death. After that, the new king will address the nation through television.
On the second day, the British monarch will be officially sworn in. Members of the royal family’s advisory committee, judges and politicians, senior clerics will participate in the event. Upon the inauguration, a 41-gun salute will be fired at Hyde Park in London.
Later, a 62-gun salute will be fired at the iconic Tower of London. After this, according to traditional custom, the election of the new monarch will be announced from the balcony of St. James’s Palace.
On the third day, the royal family will pay their respects to the Queen’s body in the Scottish capital, Edinburgh.

On the fourth day, Elizabeth II’s body will be brought from Scotland to Buckingham Palace in London.
On the 5th, the body will be laid to rest at Buckingham Palace. Lakhs of people are expected to pay their respects here.
On the sixth day Elizabeth’s body will be taken in procession from Buckingham Palace to the Palace of Westminster. Later, the body will be kept there for 3 days for tribute. People will be allowed to pay their respects throughout the day except for a 15-minute break at midnight.
On the seventh day, world leaders will pay their respects to Elizabeth II’s body at the Palace of Westminster.
On the 10th day it will be taken from the Palace of Westminster to Windsor Castle, passing Buckingham Palace. After the funeral there, Elizabeth II will be buried near her husband Philip’s burial site.
