The football leagues administration is waiting for confirmation from the police and the German manufacturer, that the magnetometer they want to operate in the football stadiums will be able to allow crowd flow without problems. The intention to place magnetometers in the football stadiums was already revealed for the first time in ONE in the interview we conducted with Erez Kalfon, the chairman of the administration on 4.6, and also in the news we published on 6.6.
The administration, together with the police, are working to eradicate the violence that increased at the end of the past season, and to stop the introduction of pyrotechnics into the stands as the fans do today without any problems.
First there should be a pilot in Bloomfield Stadium, for the police to see if the placement of the magnetometer really detects the attempt to insert the pyrotechnics and is indeed effective. The goal is to place the magnetometers at the gates that are a problem and those will be determined by the police.
Now we are waiting to see if the magnetometer that they intend to bring from Germany actually works even with a large crowd entering without any problem. It is estimated that if everything goes well, within a month and a half they will be able to hold the pilot at Bloomfield Stadium.
