Sunday, after his defeat against Bordeaux (1-3) in a Charléty stadium mostly won over to the cause of the Girondins, a whole club woke up with a hangover. It should have been a seduction operation, but Paris FC learned a lesson on the pitch and in the stands. After the last two seasons completed in the play-offs, expectations were high but the fans are disillusioned. The current 13th place, with 7 points in 7 games, is inevitably messy when you have the 4th budget of the Division (21.9 million euros) behind the three relegated from L 1 and a workforce estimated “as the best on the paper that the club never had”.
