Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that Russia plans to take advantage of the expected winter conditions upon its onset, in order to break the Ukrainian resistance. “Russia is making every effort to break the resistance of Ukraine, Europe and the world during the ninety days of winter,” the Ukrainian president noted while participating in the European Strategy Forum held in Kiev.
