Gadot will play the evil mother in “Snow White”, the huge classic from 1937, and what was the first full-length animated film in the cinema. At the conference, the Israeli star was asked about the experience this time, when she played the role of the villain, unlike most of her roles in which she plays the good-hearted heroine.

“It was an amazing experience,” Gadot replied. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to play this iconic character, tell her story and step into her shoes – a great honor for me. It was amazing, and so different from anything I’ve done before.”

Our second pride in Hollywood, Shira Haas, has been cast as an Israeli superheroine in the next Marvel film.

Haas will play the character of “Sabra” – a fictional character of a mutant superhero who appears in the comic books in the Marvel Comics universe in the fourth film in the “Captain America” ​​series (“Captain America: New World Order”) which is expected to be released on May 3, 2024.

The character’s real name is Ruth Bat Sharaf. It is about an Israeli superhero whose powers were discovered in her childhood and as a result she and her parents were interrogated by espionage agencies in Israel and since then she has been educated to become a Mossad agent.

At the conference, new films to be released were revealed, including “Peter Pan and Wendy”, a second film to the hit “The Voice in the Head”, and “Mishala” – a film to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Disney, which will tell the story of the iconic star from the films.

In addition, there will be a live action movie for “The Little Mermaid”, and Disney has already released a trailer that looks promising.

And the highlight, the most important news for Disney fans: a new Lion King movie.

The film will be called “Mufasa: The Lion King”, and it will be a prelude to the well-known classics, and it will tell how Mufasa became the king. The film is currently in the works, and will be released in 2024.
