Cs often in Corsica, the affair began with an anonymous piece of information sent to the courts. On October 19, 2021, the sleuths of the Bastia judicial police were however able to verify for themselves that the game was worth the candle: they have just uncovered an imposing arsenal of more than 20,000 munitions, hidden in a buried container on land reserved for goat breeding, in Oletta (Haute-Corse). Assault rifles, submachine guns, grenades, ammunition presses… the discovery launches the police on the trail of a vast arms traffic for the benefit of criminal gangs or clandestine nationalists. Nothing to do with all this: the investigation will have revealed, in fine, only the obsessive passion of a thirty-something obsessed with his clandestine manufacturing workshop.
