Paulo Fonseca, the Lille coach beaten 2-1 in Marseille on Saturday evening during the 7th day of Ligue 1, confided his feelings after the meeting: “I’m frustrated. Playing against Marseille is difficult but my team did many things well. We know they are very strong, with great players, but I saw a lot of good things. We lost on a detail, on a free kick, but we prevented Marseille from playing as usual. They only had chances on the counterattack. I think we could bring back points. They made mistakes, they were very aggressive. It’s difficult to play against this kind of team. Lucas Chevalier had a good game. For me it was the right time to give him a chance. Some thought I wouldn’t start him in Marseille but I was confident he has personality. For him it’s the same to play in Marseille or with the B team.»
