Protests against Polish abortion law after pregnant woman dies – Poland

Warsaw – The death of a 30-year-old pregnant woman sparked protests in several cities in Poland on Monday evening. As the TV news channel TVN24 reported on Tuesday, the doctors in the hospital in the southern Polish city of Pszczyna did not dare to save the woman’s life by aborting the pregnancy. Instead, they would have waited for the damaged fetus to die on its own in the womb.
