Queen Elizabeth II coffin begins its final journey

The journey to transport the body of British Queen Elizabeth II, who died in Scotland, to England has begun.

Elizabeth II died at Balmoral Castle in north-east Scotland on the 8th due to ill health. Following this, it was decided that the Queen’s body would be taken to Edinburgh, England for public tributes and burial in the throne room of Holyrood Palace.

Accordingly, the coffin carrying the Queen’s body is carried in a car. On reaching Baleter village on the way, a large number of people including army officers paid their respects to the body of the queen. Tributes to the Queen will follow in Aberdeen and Dundee. Finally, Elizabeth II’s body will reach Edinburgh, covering a distance of 103 miles in 6 hours.
