Athur: A laborer died after receiving delayed treatment after being bitten by a dog. A laborer, Mani, 56, a resident of Railway Station Street, Pattutura, near Talivasal, Salem district, was bitten by a dog while walking on the street two months ago.
At that time, due to not taking proper treatment, swelling in the leg occurred. On the 7th, he was admitted to the Salem Government Hospital due to his unwell condition. Today, he died. Thalaivasal police have registered a case and are investigating.
