Kottayam ∙ A four-year-old girl fell asleep inside a school bus in Qatar on her birthday and died due to extreme heat. Abhilash Chacko-Soumya couple’s youngest daughter Minsa died tragically in Chingavanam Kochuparam. Minzah is a KG1 student at The Springfield Kindergarten, Alwakra, Doha.
The boy who went to school in the morning fell asleep on the seat inside the bus and was not noticed by the staff. After dropping off the children, the staff locked the bus. It is concluded that the child died because he could not bear the extreme heat in Qatar. When they took the bus to take the children back in the afternoon, the staff saw the child lying inside the bus. He was rushed to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.
Abhilash, who is notable in the field of painting and designing, and his family have been living in Qatar for many years. Abhilash was doing work related to Qatar World Cup. According to the preliminary information, the police registered a case and arrested the bus staff based on the complaint filed by the parents. No official confirmation is available regarding this.
Minsa’s body will be taken to Kottayam Chingawan after post-mortem at Al Wakra Hospital. Minsa’s sister Meekha is a second class student of MES Indian School. Soumya is the mother.
