Chennai, : ‘Velbari’ is a historical novel written by Sahitya Akademi award winning writer and Madurai MP Su Venkatesan. It is reported that Shankar is trying to make this movie and Suriya will act in it. Su. Venkatesan attended Karthi’s ‘Viruman’ film festival. Then Surya said, ‘The biggest identity of Tamils is ‘guard line’, ‘Velbari’. We have started an interesting journey with Su Venkatesan. I will announce about it soon,’ he said.
Siva is currently directing Suriya’s 42nd film. After completing this historical film in 10 languages in 3D technology, Suriya, who will act in Bala’s ‘Vanangan’, will next act in Vetrimaaran’s ‘Vadivasal’. If the novel ‘Velbari’ is confirmed, it seems that Suriya will act in Shankar’s direction. Earlier, Su Venkatesan’s Sahitya Akademi award-winning novel ‘Kaval Kottam’ was released in 2012 under the name ‘Aravan’ directed by Vasanthapalan.
