The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, discussed the security situation at the Zaporizhia nuclear plant in Ukraine. In a telephone conversation, the two leaders expressed their readiness for “non-political interaction” regarding the participation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Macron told Putin that the main cause of the risks at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant is the presence of Russian forces, and that Russian military operations in Ukraine should stop immediately .
