Former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi confirmed that his daughter waved the Indian flag during the Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan. In an interview with Sama TV, he said that he had received a video of his younger daughter but was not sure whether to share it online or not.
Afridi’s daughter was spotted waving the Indian flag during the Super Four match on September 4. Afridi revealed that Pakistan’s flags were not available enough, so his daughter took the Indian flag and started waving it. He also revealed that his wife told him that only 10 percent of the crowd at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium were Pakistanis.
Pakistan won the Super 4 clash after losing to India in the Asia Cup group stage. Chasing a target of 182 runs, Pakistan overcame the target with the loss of five wickets in 19.5 overs.
