The wife of the country’s president, Mrs. Michal Herzog, opened this evening (Monday) the festive gala evening for the exciting new exhibition on “Albert Elbaz – The Dream Factory” at the Design Museum Holon, alongside his beloved family members, his sisters Gladys Azan Elbaz and Rebecca Ben Tulila, Alon Ben Tulila, his nephew, Alex Elbaz’s spouse line, the heads of Meditech and the Holon Design Museum – Mr. Danny Weiss, CEO of Meditech, Mia Devash, chief curator, Yara Kidar, curator of the exhibition, and hundreds of guests from the heads of state.
Alvar Elbaz (1961-2021), the greatest designer in the world, and the most successful Israeli designer in the world, dreamed and breathed fashion from childhood, and is considered to be an eminence among fashion designers in the world. Alvar was known not only for his unique talent for design, but also for his innovative vision and his rare ability to tell a story, touch and move. He was a man who was loved and appreciated by many all over the world and influenced many creators. The dreams, the driving force in his life, are given a place of honor in the center of the exhibition, next to magnificent couture models.
The new exhibition “Albert Elbaz – The Dream Factory” at the Holon Design Museum, is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition ever held on Alber and his works in the world, and exhibits items that have never been revealed before. It is a moving and touching tribute celebrating his life and work. The exhibition is open to the public until March 23.
