The Premier League announced this evening (Monday) about the resumption of the league this coming weekend. As you may remember, after the passing of Queen Elizabeth, the league postponed the seventh cycle in accordance with the form they took in most sports in the kingdom.
Although the league in England is returning, not all games will be held as scheduled. Beyond the game between Crystal Palace and Brighton, the postponement of which was known even before, the fascinating meeting between Chelsea and Liverpool, as well as the game of Manchester United against Leeds will be held at a different time due to reasons related to the Queen’s funeral.
So who will return to the lawn? On Saturday, Manchester City will return to the turf and host Wolves, with Tottenham hosting Leicester. Table leaders Arsenal will also take part in the round of 16 when they host Brentford on Sunday.
